Westcott Lighting Kits
When it comes to trying to find the perfect lighting equipment there is only really one name that you always need to know and that name is Westcott. If you are new to the world of photography then I am quite sure that you will quickly familiarize yourself with this name. In fact I am almost certain that you will quickly learn to love and respect most all products in the Westcott line.
Whether you need umbrellas, a camera, studio lighting ect. I can guarantee you that the good folks over at Westcott will be able to supply all of your needs. I love Westcott products personally because they are so affordable. Their products always have been therefore I buy them very regularly. In my own photography equipment arsenal I own the Westcott 301 photo basics 40 inch 5 in 1 reflector, the Westcott spiderlite, the Westcott strobelite, and a 14 inch silver and white diffusers. The thing is that I have only been doing photography for almost a year now. I love Westcott products because they make my job easier, after all isn’t that what they were designed to do in the first place?
I know that this is just a tad bit off of the subject here but yet another Westcott favorite of mine are Westcott cameras for one reason. Their continuous lighting feature is unmatched by most other camera creators in the industry. You can try to check out all of the other competitors but at the end of the day I am pretty sure that your results will be the same as mine, they are about as good as it gets in that department.
Aside from all of this I must say that I personally have always been one for buying brand name products. This is not to say that there are not other manufacturers who don’t create quality product for less but are not what you would consider to be “name brand” but the fact of the matter is that I like to spend the money that I have to spend on a product one time and get it over with. Many times when we attempt to take the cheap way out we fool no one but ourselves. I really think that the best thing we can do as photographers is buy with Wesctott when it comes to lighting equipment, they are by far the industry standard.
